Jet Ski Racing

The IFWA Free Ride World Championship is a well-known Jet Ski racing event which is held near Pismo. The beach has been offered a chance to host the final event of this year’s Jet Ski IFWA Free ride World Championship Tour. Generally, it takes place in the month of October and this year, it will be held during 19th and 21st of October as part of the Oceano Dunes Festival. In this grand race, nearly 30 of the world’s best Jet Ski riders take part. This year too, they will be locking the horns for part of the cash rewards. Besides that, points are vital as points will take them close to the title of IFWA World Champion. The competition is all set to see the skills of the US Competitors along with racers from France, Spain, Germany, Brazil, and South Africa.

Kawasaki's Jet Ski Ultra 250X is a distinguished jet sky racing event which has established itself as the finest race among the lot. It sees the participation of the competitors from Europe as well as Eastern Asia. In this race, players take part in the form of a team and each team is supposed to complete 30 ten-mile loops. In-between, the teams have a pit stop every hour to fuel-up and switch riders. Perth, in Australia, also hosts some grand Jet Ski races in the form of Gravity Champions. Last year, the competition was sponsored by Vodafone which was held from December 7 -10. It was an imposing exhibit of action-packed water-sports. Jet Ski World Championship was organized in Imbituba from November 24th to 26th 2006. Its final event was held amid intense rains and wind and ultimately, it was South African Jimmy Visser who clinched the title by winning the fourth round of Free Ride World Championship. This event went through some of the worst judgments and few scuffles among the riders as well. The APBA Water cross National Tour event was held at the Ontario Beach Park, Rochester, NY. Rochester is now gaining popularity as a trendy Jet Ski racing spot as it has been the location of the National Water cross Tour for the past 8 years. Each year, enthusiasm and thrill reach a new height.

The Toyota Water Jam, a renowned U.S. Jet Ski Racing Event, is hoping to catch the participation of over 150 participants from all over the world. The event will be jam-packed by way of fast paced action during the two days. Apart from the locals, several contestants from all over the United States are expected to be there to take the racing world off its feet on Lake Ontario’s hard-hitting waves. Jet Sky racing is expected to be the leading event at the venue. Bali Free Ride Nations Cup which is held in September, will have a fierce competition among the world’s elite riders along with the world class Brazilians players.
