Post Hurricane Katrina, Elan Boats, closed their Covington, LA based manufacturing facility. We continue to explore options and arrangements that can return the American Skier, Volante and Eagle Air lines of boats to the market. The roots of Elan Boats goes back to The American Skier Boat Company, which was originally founded in 1975. Elan Boats has incorporated today's space age materials, innovative designs and the highest performance safety and maintenance standards in the industry with the American Skier tradition of excellence.
