Dockstavarvet is a leading producer of aluminum boats for professional use in Scandinavia and on the international market. The first aluminium boat was delivered in 1969 and from then until the turn of the millennium, Dockstavarvet developed new models and manufactured just over 200 boats. High quality, short lead times and customized solutions are the shipyard’s trademarks. Dockstavarvet has been engaged in the development and serial production of advanced, high-speed patrol boats for military and non-military applications on three continents for about 15 years. Our headquarters are located in Docksta, Sweden. The nearby airports of Kramfors and Sundsvall are both served by frequent flights from Stockholm – Arlanda. The shipyard is conveniently located with direct access to the Gulf of Bothnia and areas suitable for testing and training purposes. In mid-2001 Dockstavarvet inaugurated a new, tasteful office, built on a barge anchored just outside the workshops. There is a very close cooperation with its subsidiary, Rindö Marine AB, located at Vaxholm in the Stockholm archipelago.
