Water sports are a type of leisure activity. These sports are much admired across the world and particularly are a rage in the Caribbean islands. Beaches on islands are the best places for people to enjoy water sports. Water sports are held in various forms. Snorkeling is possibly the most admired form of water sports for the reason that swimmers of all ages can enjoy it. Parasailing is basically not a water sport but due to its way of going upward in air from the base of water makes it a water sport. In this sport, even landing is done onto a boat standing in water. Waterskiing or jet skiing has become fairly admired in recent times. Jet skiing is particularly an extremely expedient water sport with many people renting jet skis for a single rider experience or wave runners that can take on 2-4 riders at one time.

There are numerous other water sports for people who prefer spending some time in peace and tranquility. Canoeing or kayaking is such a means of traveling on water. Canoeing is among the easiest available water sports which is done by paddling a canoe. You sit in it, put the paddle in the water push forward and off you go. In canoeing, normally one person sits up front while other at the back. The seat is set back from the bow because the bow paddler requires more leg room. If you have no room for your legs, then you are paddling the canoe backwards and need to turn yourself around.
