Addictor boats were manufactured in Sunny Dana Point California back in 1984 up through 1996 by Company owner Richard Hoffman. Later the company moved to San Diego and decided to close shop around the time Jet Ski's became popular. They produced four hull models with several custom options. These included the single seater Hugger, the two seater 190 (8' 4" length, 4' 4" beam), the deluxe 245 (8' 4" length, 5' 8" beam) and the three seater 333 Bambino (10' in length, 5', 11" beam). Later the Adventure model based after the 245 deluxe came available. Addictor boats came with a standard 18hp, 25 hp or 30 hp Tohatsu outboard or the optional 40hp Tohatsu on the 190 competition and 245 models. Some of the custom options included a two or three color gel coat, 2" wide rubber bumper stripping, stainless steel bow railing, windshield, bimini top, tachometer & MPH gauges, whale tail, and more. The boats alone weigh between 200 and 330 lbs with the exception of the Bambino weighing in over 400lbs. The fastest model being the 190 competition model with a 40 hp Tohatsu pushing the boat in excess of 35 mph. Most of the Addictor boats were sold as rentals at lakes such as Lake Havasu as their marketing fell far behind their production.
