Polaris Industries is not only a producer of snowmobiles but also produces all-terrain vehicles (ATV), ranger utility vehicles, motorcycles and quad cycles. The company is based in Medina, Minnesota and is known as the oldest manufacturer of snowmobiles. Apart from snowmobiles, Polaries Industries has also produced numerous ATV models that have been widely appreciated by consumers. X2 500 EFI ATV is one such model. 500 EFI is a utility style model of ATV that is equipped with a 499cc engine. The engine is liquid cooled, single-cylinder with 4-Stroke capacity. It also contains a continuously variable Transmission (CVT).

Polaris Industries recently developed the ATV models, Hawkeye 4x2 and Hawkeye 300 2x4. This range offers automatic transmission while using Forward and Reverse Gears. They also include a strong engine - 300cc air cooled four stroke, while possessing an electric start module. The tires used in these Polaris models are held firmly to sustain high pressure. The fully independent suspension and built in receiver make the series further attractive. In both starts and runs, it’s incredible. This ATV series has been launched worldwide and as a result of its grand features, received rave responses from the critics.

Outlaw 525 is another wonderful ATV from Polaris which was launched in 2006. It is termed as the first sport quad with an independent rear suspension (PRO IRS). Its revised version for 2007 has also been made public which is comparatively faster than the previous one. Some even hail it is the fastest among the lot. Outlaw 525 is studded with a powerful 510cc KTM engine. It is leaner at 395 lbs. and is the fastest accelerating ATV accessible in the market. Outlaw 525 is termed as the first ATV project which has included both Polaris and its partner KTM. In designing and manufacturing this particular model, engineers from both companies worked creatively to shape an innovative product. Austria-based KTM, best recognized for its racing heritage, provided the technical know-how of the product, while Polaries Industries ensured the model was designed in a way that appealed to the consumer.

Predator 50 is another Polaris ATV which was launched with a vision of a tough ATV for tough kids. This is a very popular model among the children and contains a reliable, fan-cooled 49cc engine. It also provides parental tether, electric start, backup kick start and automatic transmission in the right gear. Apart from all these, options include an adjustable foot well. On the other hand, Polaris also has some sports models in the name of 800 EFI, 700 EFI and 700 Twin. All these sporty models contain a selectable 4X2 / 4X4 driveline with front hydraulic and rear hydraulic disc brakes. The Sportsman 500 EFI, which was made public for the first time in 2006, also offers a 6 months limited warranty.
